South Australian Youth Forum Annual Report 2022
The South Australian Youth Forum has addressed the issues of gender equality, youth representation and participation, consent education, mental health and civics education. The Forum has formulated models regarding how adults should appropriately engage with young people, how to improve gender inequality in schools, how to improve mental health in young people and a reform to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. Further, the SA Youth Forum ran an Open Workshop as part of Youth Week 2022 to engage and represent the broader interests of young people in South Australia. All of this data is collated in the South Australian Youth Forum Annual Report.
"Being part of the SA Youth forum has broadened my perspective on the world and helped inform me on the multitude of challenges that youth are facing across South Australia. I have been able to meet and have meaningful conversations with people my age about youth issues which has been complied into a report that will help educate others and provide the steps needed to improve the lives of young people across the state."
